    Tylan 50 Injection (50 mg/mL) is a macrolide antibiotic used in cattle and swine to treat respiratory infections, foot rot, arthritis, and other bacterial diseases. It is administered intramuscularly and provides effective treatment with defined withdrawal periods.

    Description

    Tylan 50 Injection contains 50 mg/mL of tylosin and is indicated for use in beef cattle, non-lactating dairy cattle, and swine. Cattle treat conditions like bovine respiratory disease, foot rot, calf diphtheria, and metritis caused by organisms such as Pasteurella multocida and Fusobacterium necrophorum. In swine, it’s used for arthritis (Mycoplasma hyosynoviae), pneumonia, erysipelas, and dysentery caused by Treponema hyodysenteriae. Administered intramuscularly, the dosage depends on species and body weight. Do not exceed 10 mL (cattle) or 5 mL (swine) per injection site. Not for use in lactating dairy cattle or equines. Swine must not be slaughtered within 14 days, and cattle must be killed within 21 days of the last dose.
