    Surpass Topical Cream for Horses (124 g) is an FDA-approved NSAID formulated with 1% diclofenac sodium to treat joint pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis. Designed for direct application, this topical treatment delivers anti-inflammatory action right where it’s needed—typically on joints like the hock, knee, fetlock, and pastern. It minimizes systemic exposure and associated risks seen with oral medications. The cream is applied twice daily in a five-inch ribbon and gently rubbed into the affected area. Surpass is ideal for horses experiencing lameness or reduced mobility from chronic joint conditions. It is generally well-tolerated, though some mild skin irritation may occur.
