    Prascend Tablets 1 mg, containing the active ingredient pergolide, is a medication primarily used in horses to treat pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID), commonly referred to as equine Cushing's disease. PPID is a disorder in which the pituitary gland produces excessive amounts of hormones, leading to symptoms such as increased thirst, excessive urination, coat changes, laminitis, and weight loss.
